For creators
PrepGenie exists because your recipe videos are great — and because home cooks want a way to turn them into meal plans and shopping lists. Here's exactly how we handle your work.
We store facts, not your content
When a recipe video is added to PrepGenie, we extract only structured data: standardized ingredient names, quantities, cooking steps, equipment, and timing. We never copy your wording, your voice, your captions, or your personality. Recipe facts are presented in our own neutral, standardized format.
We never rehost your video or photos
Your video stays on your channel. We don't re-upload, embed-scrape, or mirror it, and we don't use your thumbnails or photos. If people want to see how the dish comes together, there's only one place to do that — your original post.
Every recipe links back to you
Recipes sourced from a video display your handle and a prominent link to the original post, both at the top of the page and in a note at the bottom. When someone cooks your recipe from PrepGenie, they know it's yours — and one click takes them to your content. Think of us as a structured index that sends viewers your way.
Questions or concerns?
If you're a creator and something about how your recipe is credited looks wrong — or you'd like to talk to us about anything else — email hello@prepgeniehub.com and we'll get back to you personally.
Want your recipes on PrepGenie?
We'd love that. Send links to your recipe videos to hello@prepgeniehub.com and we'll prioritize adding them — with full attribution, of course.
